The Philadelphia International Music Festival Celebrates Youth Orchestras –
All Year Long!
This month’s Featured Youth Orchestra:
Phoenix Youth Symphony
The Philadelphia International Music Festival, featuring members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, views the many wonderful youth orchestra ensembles around the world as partners in our summer music camp programs and our mission to promote classical music education worldwide. For that reason, we are honored to recognize a Youth Orchestra of the Month, highlighting the successes and accomplishments of each respective program. Read about this month’s Featured Youth Orchestra. Check these pages often to stay abreast of youth orchestra happenings throughout the U.S. and around the world!
Young musicians, teachers, conductors and youth orchestra administrators: share with us your favorite youth orchestra memories or experiences. We will be selecting several entries per month to post here, on our fan page, and – if photos are applicable – on our Instagram and Facebook accounts!
