For 20 years, young musicians have attended PIMF from throughout the U.S. and from nations around the world, including: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Ecuador, England, France, Georgia, Germany, Haiti, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Ireland, Jamaica, Japan, Macedonia, Mexico, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and elsewhere.
These musicians have gone on to study at such outstanding institutions as: Curtis Institute of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, Eastman School of Music, James Madison University, The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Mannes School of Music, Miami University, National Conservatory of Music – Mexico, Peabody Conservatory, Princeton University, Rice University – Shepherd School of Music, Rome Conservatory of Music, and many others.
The festival includes multiple program options: Symphony Orchestra, Solo Performance Preparation, Piano Studies, Vocal Performance, and Chamber Music Intensive Track with Project 440. Additional program options are available for children (ages 10 & under) and college students and young professionals. All programs take place on the estate-like grounds of Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, named one of the 30 most beautiful college campuses in the US by Travel & Leisure Magazine.
