Winter Solo Performance Intensive
World-class musical training. The warmth and beauty of Miami. An unforgettable winter experience.
Six days in a private villa in Southern Florida, with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, and nothing else asking for your attention.
This is not a music camp. It is six days of solo preparation, built for serious musicians aged 13 to 19. It includes four private lessons, daily solo performance classes, daily workouts with your assigned accompanist, evening masterclasses and four hours of required private practice daily, ending in a Grand Finale Recital at the fabulous Casa Tranquila.
Students reside in a majestic Italian-style villa on an eight-and-a-half-acre estate and eat gourmet-style meals prepared by our on-site chefs. PIMF has made every effort to surround the young musicians in this program with beauty and excellence, so that the only thing they need to focus on is performance. Enrollment is limited to 27, and the program fills to capacity every season.
Open to string players only
